Two Weeks In. Let's Be Honest. 😉
In 2025, you accomplished a lot. You implemented new systems. Rolled out new processes. Hit goals. And for 2026, you might have even created a few resolutions, personal or professional.
So here's a question you might not be asking: How much of what you did in 2025 has actually taken root?
I'm not talking about what was announced. I'm talking about what's being embodied.
The Gap Nobody Talks About
Organizations embed things all the time. New technology. New workflows. New strategies. New leadership initiatives.
But embedding something isn't the same as embodying it.
Embedded means it's installed, documented, rolled out.
Embodied means people have actually made it their own. It's changed how they work, not just what they're told to do. It shows up in their decisions, their instincts, their day-to-day.
That gap? It's where 30-40% of your capacity quietly disappears. And most leaders never see it because they're measuring activity, not integration.
The Embodiment Test
Before you add anything else to your 2026 plan, try this. Three questions, one for each dimension of your organization:
PEOPLE:
How are your people actually showing up? Not what the engagement survey says.
What would change if they felt genuinely invested in where the organization is headed?
PROCESS:
Was there a process change in 2025 that never fully took hold?
What's the gap between how work is supposed to flow and how it actually does?
PLATFORM:
Did you implement new technology that still hasn't been fully adopted?
Is it being used in ways that actually change how work gets done?
If you can't answer these clearly, you're not behind. You're just being honest. And honesty is where momentum actually starts.
The Numbers Don't Lie
The research backs this up:
PEOPLE:
Only 23% of employees globally are engaged, while 62% are not engaged and 15% are actively disengaged (Gallup, 2024)
Just 36% feel engaged, and only 24% feel psychologically safe at work (Achievers Workforce Institute, 2025)
Disengaged employees cost the world $7.8 trillion in productivity, equal to 11% of global GDP
PROCESS:
Only 34% of major organizational change initiatives achieve their goals (Gartner)
The average organization undergoes five significant changes every three years (Gartner)
That means two out of three process changes never fully take hold
PLATFORM:
Failed digital transformations cost organizations an estimated $2.3 trillion per year globally (Gartner)
70% of digital transformations fall short of their objectives (McKinsey)
Not because the technology didn't work, but because people never fully adopted it
Organizations keep embedding things that never get embodied. It isn't just about the return on the investment. Where is the return on the intention?
So why do these numbers stay so stubbornly bad? Research shows 85% of executives believe their organizations are bad at diagnosing problems (Harvard Business Review). Leaders are rewarded for decisiveness, so when something goes wrong, they respond quickly. Urgency gets mistaken for effectiveness. They respond to the loudest noise. The complaint that lands in the inbox. The team that's visibly struggling and making sure everyone knows it. The shiny new technology that promises to fix everything.
But the real friction rarely announces itself.
It hides in the gaps between what's embedded and what's embodied. And until you look there, you're solving for volume, not value.
This is where Engage3P comes in. We don't sell software. We don't push frameworks you'll never use. We find the friction you've stopped noticing, measure what it's actually costing, and build the path to close the gap, before you make your next big investment. Across People, Process, and Platform.
The Shift
From installed to integrated.
From embedded to embodied.
From planned to real.
That's not a slogan. That's the difference between organizations that hit 60 percent of their potential and those that actually move.
Ways to Engage
Want to explore these ideas? Check out The Glass House Podcast, which I co-host weekly with Daisy Watkins of LumaPath.ai every Wednesday on LinkedIn and YouTube, 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern. We dig into the gap between who organizations ARE and who they APPEAR to be. We're always looking for leaders with stories to share. Want to be a guest? Let us know.
There are several ways to work with us:
The Glass House Accelerator: A cohort-based program designed to help business owners align what's inside with what's visible. Three tiers depending on where you are:
Foundation: For solopreneurs and early-stage businesses. Four live sessions, a comprehensive workbook, session recordings, and two custom GPTs you build yourself.
Growth: For established small businesses and independent consultants. Everything in Foundation, plus 1:1 kickoff, accountability check-ins, hot seat coaching, resource library, and private community access.
Thrive: For established businesses and senior executives ready to go deeper. Everything in Growth, plus three 1:1 calls, done-with-you GPT builds, a LinkedIn/website audit, advanced positioning, and a 90-day action plan.
Each cohort is intentionally small. We're building relationships, not running a webinar. You'll do the work alongside us and leave with real progress, not just ideas to think about.
Embodiment Engagements: For leaders and teams ready for a deeper engagement across People, Process, and Platform. We're your partner. This is where we roll up our sleeves and work alongside your team to uncover the hidden friction, measure the gap, and build a roadmap to close it. We stay engaged with you to ensure the return, not just on your investment, but on your intention.
